We missed our first connection flight to JFK airport as we were on standby, so we had to wait 7 hours more for the next flight.

Pick up all your duty-free essentials from Qatar Duty Free, which also has express shops near the gates. If you wish to relax, Oryx Lounge offers comfort with superior hospitality, food&beverage services, a smoking room, business centre, quiet zone, free Wi-fi and gaming room for kids.
Eat Street is a place where you can try food from all over the world or IN-Q Cafe, where you can taste delicious baked goods, healthy food and have a nice cup of coffee. You can also see the seven-metre centerpiece Lamp Bear. You can also have an express blow-dry or manicure at Nails, located inside the Blush boutique.
Qatar Duty Free’s area offers access to top internation brands such as – GMT, Pulse, Junction, Esquire, Hermes, Bulgari ad Chopard.
A perfect amount of time to enjoy a sit-down meal. You can try Qataf Cafe which serves traditional Arabian cuisine, Soprafino for Italian-style dining, Le Grand Comptoir, a French-style dining and Caviar House&Prunier Seafood Bar where everything is freshly prepared in fron of the guests.
There is an four-star Airport Hotel for stays from 5 to 8 hours. There is also Vitality Wellbeing&Fitness Centre with a swimming pool, gymnasium and a spa.

Seeing the wonders of Qatar itself is the best way to spend an extend layover! There is a three-hour bus tour of Doha’s major attractions including Museum of Islamic Art, the Corniche, West Bay area, Katara Cultural and Heritage Village and The Pearl-Qatar.
